Regular expansion enclosure for Brivo ACS6100

The Brivo B-ACS6100R-EXP adds Door and I/O board capacity to a compatible B-ACS6000-MBE or ACS6100 controller system over the CAN bus.

Expansion capacity

• Holds up to four compatible ACS6100 Door or I/O accessory boards when used as an expansion chassis
• Regular enclosure with a four-position internal CAN-bus cable
• One B-ACS6100-PSB panel power supply supporting up to four accessory boards
• Configured for one AC/DC adapter and one 12 VDC 14 Ah standby battery, or the current Brivo-approved battery equivalent

Design notes

A single main controller supports up to 14 Door and/or I/O expansion boards across properly chained enclosures, with a maximum of 30 readers per controller. Confirm the exact current kit contents, board mix, CAN-bus layout, firmware, and standby calculations before installation.

Lock power is separate. The internal ACS6100 supply supports control electronics, expansion boards, and readers—not electric strikes, maglocks, or other locking hardware. Main controller, Door and I/O boards, readers, locks, door hardware, and field wiring are sold separately.

Brivo service required: Cloud administration, schedules, audit trails, remote management, and mobile credentials require compatible Brivo hardware, professional configuration, and an active Brivo Access subscription.
