Eagle Eye DM08b 4MP NDAA Outdoor Mini Dome Camera

Compact 4 MP coverage for entrances, lobbies and protected exterior locations. The NDAA-compliant Eagle Eye DM08b (part number EN-CDUM-008b) is the 2.8 mm version of Eagle Eye's indoor/outdoor mini dome camera. It pairs a wide fixed view with infrared night illumination, a built-in microphone and a compact aluminum housing. It is preconfigured for the Eagle Eye Cloud VMS, making it a practical camera for a new installation or an expansion of a compatible Eagle Eye system.

• NDAA-compliant model: the EN-CDUM-008b is identified as NDAA-compliant in distributor listings. Request current manufacturer or authorized-distributor compliance documentation when required for a bid or regulated project.
• 4 MP video and fixed 2.8 mm lens: wide scene coverage for a doorway, hallway, counter area or small outdoor approach. Camera placement still determines whether faces and other details are usable.
• Smart IR night vision: manufacturer-rated IR illumination to 15 m (about 49 ft), subject to the scene, mounting and conditions.
• 120 dB WDR: helps balance bright entrances and darker interior areas.
• Built-in microphone: audio capture capability when enabled and supported by the selected system configuration.
• IP66 and IK08 ratings: weather-resistant housing and impact rating for suitable indoor or outdoor placements.
• PoE power: one compatible network cable can provide data and power; the manufacturer also specifies a 12 VDC power option.

Choose the right camera and recording plan

A mini dome offers a discreet, compact form factor. For exposed outdoor installations, assess the mounting surface, rain, dirt and nighttime reflections before choosing a dome; a turret or bullet may be easier to keep clear in some locations. The DM08b's fixed lens does not provide motorized zoom. If you need a narrower view, longer-range identification or a different night-vision design, ask us to compare suitable models before ordering.

Eagle Eye Cloud VMS service is separate from the camera hardware. A per-camera subscription and compatible Eagle Eye deployment are required for cloud recording and management; retention and resolution affect the plan. This model is listed by Eagle Eye as Camera Direct compatible, which may allow an eligible smaller installation without a separate Bridge or CMVR. Local microSD capability does not itself include a cloud subscription, storage card or guaranteed recording retention.

For NDAA-sensitive projects, confirm the exact supplied SKU and request current compliance documentation. The current Eagle Eye DM08 datasheet confirms a built-in microphone and alarm I/O, but lists no external audio input/output.
