Eagle Eye SW20g 16-Port Gigabit Managed PoE+ Switch | 250W

Connect and power up to 16 compatible IP security cameras with the Eagle Eye Networks SW20g (EN-SW20g-001), a Gigabit managed PoE+ switch designed for video surveillance. Its 16 powered camera ports, Gigabit uplink connections, and 250 W total PoE budget make it a practical choice for a growing commercial camera network.

Power and connectivity for video surveillance

• 16 Gigabit PoE+ camera ports: 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet ports carry network data and provide IEEE 802.3af/at power to compatible cameras and other PoE devices.
• 250 W shared PoE budget: Up to 30 W is available per PoE+ port, subject to the 250 W total. Check the combined maximum power draw of all connected devices; 16 devices drawing 30 W each exceed the shared budget.
• Flexible Gigabit uplinks: Two RJ45 uplink connections and two SFP uplink slots provide copper and compatible optical connection choices for your bridge, CMVR, recorder, or wider network. Select SFP transceivers and fiber to match your installation.
• Management designed for cameras: View port status, per-port traffic and current PoE draw, and manage port power. When integrated with Eagle Eye Cloud VMS, authorized users can power cycle an individual connected camera remotely.
• Installation options: Built-in 100–240 V AC power supply, 40 Gbps switching capacity, and included brackets for rack or wall mounting.

Plan the right switch for your camera system

The SW20g is suited to commercial video systems that need more powered ports, uplinks to other network equipment, or room to expand. PoE+ power depends on the demands of each connected camera, including any IR illumination or other accessories. Allow headroom under the 250 W total when planning your system. The SW20g model number refers to its 20 total ports; the network links are Gigabit, rather than 20 Gigabit Ethernet.
