Eagle Eye SW28g 24-Port Gigabit Managed PoE+ Switch | 370W

Build or expand a commercial security camera network with the Eagle Eye Networks SW28g (EN-SW28g-001), a 24-port Gigabit managed PoE+ switch designed for video surveillance. It provides power and data over the camera connections, plus copper and SFP uplink options for connecting the switch to an Eagle Eye Bridge, CMVR, or the wider network.

• 24 Gigabit PoE+ ports: 10/100/1000 Mbps camera connections support compatible IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at devices.
• 370 W shared PoE power budget: Each PoE+ port supports up to 30 W, subject to the switch's 370 W combined limit. Size the switch against the actual power requirements of the connected cameras.
• Four Gigabit uplink connections: Two RJ45 uplinks and two SFP uplink slots give you copper and compatible fiber options for connecting to other network equipment. Choose SFP transceivers and fiber appropriate to your installation.
• Camera network management: Monitor port status, network traffic, and power draw, and turn PoE power on or off by port. In a compatible Eagle Eye Cloud VMS deployment, authorized users can remotely power cycle connected cameras.
• Flexible mounting: Includes brackets for rack or wall mounting and has a built-in 100–240 V AC power supply. The manufacturer rates its switching capacity at 56 Gbps.

Plan your PoE budget before connecting cameras

The 370 W rating is the total power available to PoE devices, not 370 W per port. Although one port can supply up to 30 W, 24 devices drawing 30 W each would exceed the combined budget. Allow for the highest expected camera draw, including infrared illumination or other accessories, and leave practical headroom for your installation.
