4-Foot Grade 1 Rim Exit Device Kit – Motorized Latch Retraction

Complete 4-foot rim exit-device package

This heavy-duty Grade 1, non-fire-rated rim exit device kit combines mechanical free egress with motorized latch retraction for controlled-entry applications. The 4-foot rail is intended for doors from 3 ft 4 in to 4 ft wide and may be cut only within the hardware manufacturer's limits.

Kit includes

• 4-foot rim exit device in satin stainless steel, 630/US32D finish
• Motorized latch-retraction kit with request-to-exit contact
• Night-latch pull trim
• Schlage 20-022 rim cylinder, C keyway, with two keys
• Strike and listed installation hardware supplied with the device

Installation and life-safety notes

The REX contact monitors use of the push pad; it does not replace mechanical egress or independently unlock the opening. A suitable regulated power supply, power transfer, cabling and access-control interface may be required and are not included unless specifically stated. Confirm door width, handing, frame preparation, trim function and code requirements before ordering. Installation by qualified door-hardware and low-voltage professionals is recommended.
